VENUE SPOTLIGHT: THE HAY-ADAMS // WASHINGTON, D.C.
The iconic Hay-Adams, built in the 1920s and steeped in history, boasts scenic views of the District, overlooking the White House, Lafayette Park, and St. John’s Church.
This quaint-yet-luxurious boutique hotel is the epitome of 5-star accommodations (à la old school DC) and frequently hosts both prominent public figures and discerning travelers alike.
A Hay-Adams wedding is the perfect combination of understated elegance and traditional luxury, and the IT meeting spot for the DC’s who’s who. We love bringing our clients’ visions to life in any of their timelessly chic spaces – location is everything here!
The ever-popular Top of the Hay provides unparalleled views of several national monuments and landmarks. Where else can you find this backdrop for your photos?
In addition to epic views, the space boasts incredible light and a neutral palette (yay!) to support whatever color scheme you envision.
The Top of the Hay is a great option for rehearsal dinners, brunches or welcome parties as well!
The Top of the Hay lends itself effortlessly to any ceremony, cocktail hour or reception you may envision, and the panoramic city views are stunning year-round, both day and night. For an extra luxe look, the room may be carpeted.
The neutral-yet-rich woodwork in the Hay-Adams Room is classically refined, and we love the darker and moody ambiance in this space – picture it completely lit by candelight with tons of jewel toned florals.
This opulent room can be transformed into a dreamy ceremony site or a picturesque cocktail hour location.
We see lovely bridal showers and luncheons in the airy Concorde & Windsor Room, with its elegant Belle Époque style.
In addition to exceptional wedding spaces, the Hay-Adams offers deluxe guest rooms and luxury suites, super popular with our clients for getting ready photos due to the neural palette and natural light – even if their reception is at a different venue.
Enjoy “upscale contemporary American cuisine” at The Lafayette (try the oatmeal soufflé – life changing!) or cozy up for cocktails in Off the Record, named by Forbes as one of the World’s Best Hotel Bars.
