Venue Spotlight: Babington House // Somerset, England
An 18 acre Georgian estate in the heart of Somerset, Babington House is perfect for those who want to enjoy the traditional English countryside but aren’t prepared to compromise on urban luxuries. It is just a two and a half hour drive from London or an hour and 20 minutes by train to Bath Spa.
The Main House has a restaurant, traditional stone Orangery, Deli Bar, Library, Snooker Room and Study. The Teeny House is open daily offering crèche facilities for residents and members.
Besides the 33 guest rooms, other facilities at Babington House include the Cowshed Relax spa, indoor and outdoor heated pools, a gym, steam room, sauna and Cinema. The grounds have five tennis courts, cricket pitch, croquet lawn, walled garden, private 18th century chapel and a lake…oh and did I mention a private chapel?? Adorable!)
Babington House is part of the SOHO House Collective.
