We are so pleased to officially introduce Sarah here at Strawberry Milk Events!  Sarah has just completed her first wedding season with us, and while it’s not necessarily new news to us (she has been with us for 5 months now!) we realized that we needed to introduce Sarah to the rest of you.  Sarah has over 10 years experience with wedding and event planning and she will continue to assist on large events as well as coordinate events on her own.

Sarah’s resume includes a broad scope of clients, venues and vendors and she has a great working knowledge of the hospitality, guest service and events industries. The time she has spent in these industries has nurtured a natural instinct to anticipate needs, create amazing experiences and exceed high expectations.  Like Julie, Sarah began her hospitality career in the hotel industry as a catering sales manager.  The most recent hotel she worked at was the prestigious Willard InterContinental – a renowned historic hotel in DC.  Sarah was in charge of planning and managing beautiful weddings at The Willard and it was here that Sarah and Julie crossed paths.  Steele Stevenson, the Director of Catering at the Willard says:

Sarah is bright, energetic and full of life and she absolutely LOVES doing events, especially weddings. When she was here, her clients loved working with her.  She is incredibly detailed, very responsive and organized.  She is a great asset.

Sarah prides herself on her meticulous yet creative and hands-on approach to planning, as well as her ability to think on her feet (a must in the event planning world!)  She’s a team player and someone who flourishes in high-pressure, fast-paced situations. Whether a group of five or 5,000, Sarah’s clients know that their event will be produced flawlessly and they will receive personalized service delivered with imagination, quality and a smile.

Sarah lives in the District and has a soft spot for sailing and anchor-themed anything, as well as gold, sparkly objects. You can usually find her singing (she studied vocal performance) and sipping on dirty chai tea lattes year round.
