Cloud Nine in New York

A stunning summer white wedding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral + The New York Public Library. A gold mirrored cocktail hour bar was wrapped in a laser cut lace pattern that coordinated with their Ceci New York invitation pattern. Cocktail tables were draped with white roses hanging from golden structures, and our sequin-clad musician welcomed guests with her glowing, lucite electric violin. A long hallway of roses helped guests find their seat with assistance from our costumed “rosebud” ladies. Guests then made their way to the reception where they laid their rose in a candlelit memorial pond we created just outside the reception entrance in honor of the groom’s late parents. For dinner, we transformed the Bartos Forum at NYPL into an ethereal environment, wrapping the room in giant floral walls, white carpet, a gold mirror and laser cut dance floor centered under the iconic dome, and the entire perimeter ceiling covered in hanging flowers, ribbons and crystals. Thousands of candles and lots of layered white texture contributed to the heavenly ambiance. Guests danced the night away to the vibrant Marianne Bennett Orchestra. At 1am, guests made their way to the afterparty across the street to The Andaz where a speakeasy vibe and overstuffed leather couches awaited them at “The Bar Downstairs.” Our DJ spun house music and Shake Shack was brought in to fuel late night dancing.
