The Mellon Auditorium’s breathtaking architecture provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic spring wedding celebration, with a color palette featuring dusty blush and verdigris hues. The gilded reception space was transformed into a wonderland of beautiful decor and whimsical touches. Guests were greeted by a stunning display of antiqued limelight hydrangea and roses adorning the tables, with candles flickering and casting a warm glow throughout the space. The pièce de résistance was a central custom round bar anchoring the space with climbing roses and greenery, featuring the couple’s names in lights. Bar tables and lounge furniture accenting the central bar created a lively hub for the evening, with the party vibe the client desired. The night continued with a surprise afterparty under a glittering LED disco ball installation on the roof terrace, overlooking the Washington Monument.
