Founder and creative director Julie Savage Parekh started the company a decade ago, a
marriage of her background in hospitality and growing up with an award-winning interior
designer father. She was immersed in the world of custom furnishings, incredible textiles,
the importance of scale, inspiring art, architecture and color theory starting at age 7. A
true left brain/right brain split, she is convinced that a stunning event and seamless
execution should go hand-in-hand. She attributes her impeccable eye for style and the
ability to assemble the perfect creative team for a project to her interior design
experience (which included design showcases in NYC + The Hamptons, as well as
traveling to France on annual buying trips for A-list clientele). She attributes her ability
to read people and constantly exceed client expectations to her hospitality
background, and translates that reading effortlessly into an incredible, one of a kind
design. Over the past 10 years, she has planned and designed celebrations across
the world for discerning clientele. Her distinctive style and recognizable work has
earned a national reputation, with many features in prestigious publications and
media outlets, as well as placement on many top planner lists. She is still greatly
inspired by the world of interior design, as well as fashion and travel.
