Ashley & William had an elegant and fun destination wedding weekend at The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas, USVI for 100 of their nearest and dearest. The night before the wedding there was a colorful beach bash featuring stilt walkers and a “carnivale” theme with dancers and feather headresses galore. For the actual wedding, we embraced classic glamour in a tropical setting – our muted palette let the gorgeous scenery steal center stage. Shades of white, cream and pale aqua were accented with gold and lucite. As a tribute to the bride’s family biz (York Wallcoverings – known for some of the chicest wallpapers around, and spotted in stores like Anthropologie) – we incorporated some subtle pattern play using real wallpaper into the details of the day (paper cones for petal toss, menus, invitations, escort cards and table runners.) *AS SEEN ON STYLE ME PRETTY + MOD WEDDING*
