Real Wedding: Hayley + James: Love Sets Sail

She’s the editor of a local newspaper and he’s a graphic designer.  They both grew up just miles from one another and even went to the same high school, but amazingly never met until they found each other online.  They both agreed they wanted their wedding to reflect their love of nature and the Chesapeake Bay, which played such an integral part of growing up around Gibson Island where they spent summers boating and hanging on the beach.  Gibson Island is a very small, private island about 45 minutes from Annapolis and accessible only by a gated bridge.  It’s known for it’s member’s only country club, golf course, and amazing waterfront homes with perfectly manicured lawns.  They even have their own Gibson Island police force.  The picturesque club proved to be the perfect setting for the September ceremony and reception, where they infused a relaxed palette of french blue, sand and ivory into all the details.  This couple was so much fun to work with, and I loved all their creative ideas!
