Something Borrowed, Something Blue

“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” Over the years, thousands of brides have followed the old English rhyme for good luck on their wedding day. Representing purity, love, and fidelity, blue has developed into a luxurious and timeless color scheme adored by many. As fall rolls in, summer color palettes of brights slowly mute into cooler tones, and we adore this combination of muted powder blue and grey as an alternative neutral.  We also love to mix both antique silver and gold elements to give a sophisticated look, and the gold tones really provide a nice warmth for fall weddings.
